Happy Birthday Phillip

My oldest son, Phillip, turned 9 today. He is full of passion, energy, humor and impersonations – he does a great Hot Pockets impersonation. He was very excited about his birthday this year. In fact, when he got up this morning he placed a quick call to Uncle Shaun and Aunt Becky to make sure they remembered it was his birthday and to find out what time he could expect them to bring over his present – seems reasonable to me. There is never a dull moment with Phillip around. Happy Birthday, buddy! I love you.

The hideous bday hat was not his choice. Amy and I picked it up last night so he could add another item to the “embarrasing things my parents did to me as a child” list. You will see the hat in future birthday pics of all the family members.

  4. Phillip! We hope you got the crazy looking cards the kids made you. There was much art fun making them. I couldn’t send all of them because there was a lot of glue and large construction paper, but you’re like a rock star around our house, Heavy P, so the birthday love was going out from the Bacaks!
