Coming Home in Photos
Here are some photos from the 45 hour journey home. We had a great party at the airport with family members, friends from church, and my co-workers. Thanks to all of you who supported and prayed for us during this process. When my thoughts become coherent I plan on a more elaborate “thank you” because you are the ones who made this possible for my family.

The flight from London to NYC. I am sitting in the row in front of this pic with Natalie and Nathaniel.

The kids guarding our bags at JFK while I tracked down our shuttle to Aunt Kathy’s place.

Times Square – tired but always a great place to visit.

Sosy was a little freaked out by the Jurrasic Park T Rex in the Times Square Toys R’ Us.

The kids with Aunt Kathy (Amy’s younger sister) at her place in Harlem.

Natalie asleep on the floor of the LaGuardia Admirals Club.

This was Sosy’s response to landing in Nashville.

Sitting together as a family at home under the great banner the Groves family made us. Becky (Amy’s older sister) also stocked up our pantry and reorganized our kitchen – it’s good to have family close by!
The kids are recovering from jet lag today and relaxing at home. It has been fun to watch Y and S discover the pieces of our home that we take for granted. Y nearly jumped out of his skin this morning when I opened the automatic garage door.

How is that children who have endured so much are always the ones who radiate such enormous beauty? Your children are absolutely beautiful! They glow. Their eyes just sparkle. I love it! God has truly blessed you all. – Wendi Z.
